Purpose: To evaluate the diagnostic accuracy and clinical impact of fibroblast activation protein (FAP)-targeted PET/CT imaging in primary and metastatic breast cancer and compare the results with those of standard-of-care imaging (SCI) and [F]FDG PET/CT.
Methods: We prospectively analyzed patients with diagnosed or suspected breast cancer who underwent concomitant FAP-targeted PET/CT (radiotracers including either [Ga]Ga-FAPI-46 or [F]FAPI-42) and [F]FDG PET/CT scans from June 2020 to January 2024 at two medical centers. Breast ultrasound (US) imaging was performed in all treatment-naïve patients as SCI.
Objective: This study aims to assess the relationship between modifiable dementia risk factors and both dementia and cognitive decline.
Methods: Data were obtained from the Health and Retirement Study (HRS) [2008-2020], the China Health and Retirement Longitudinal Study (CHARLS) [2011-2020], and the English Longitudinal Study of Ageing (ELSA) [2010-2020]. After adjusting for confounding factors, multivariable logistic regression was utilized to analyze the relationship between modifiable dementia risk factors and dementia, while multivariable linear regression was employed to examine the relationship between these risk factors and cognitive decline.
Introduction: This study aimed to investigate the patterns of healthcare system utilization before sudden cardiac death (SCD) in Taiwan, and compare the patterns between patients treated at medical centers and non-center hospitals.
Methods: This descriptive multicenter retrospective cohort study recruited adult, nontraumatic SCD patients who were admitted to the National Taiwan University Hospital and its affiliated hospitals between January 2017 and December 2022. Healthcare utilization patterns, such as outpatient visits, emergency department (ED) visits, short-term ED returns, and hospitalizations, were analyzed during the weeks prior to SCD.
Z boson events at the Large Hadron Collider can be selected with high purity and are sensitive to a diverse range of QCD phenomena. As a result, these events are often used to probe the nature of the strong force, improve Monte Carlo event generators, and search for deviations from standard model predictions. All previous measurements of Z boson production characterize the event properties using a small number of observables and present the results as differential cross sections in predetermined bins.

Methods: Eighty-two consecutive heterotaxy patients who underwent the Fontan operation from 1985 to 2021 were compared to 150 patients with tricuspid atresia (TA) and 144 patients with hypoplastic left heart syndrome (HLHS). The Kaplan-Meier method and Cox proportional hazard model were used to analyze transplant-free survival and predictor of outcomes.
