Transmission distance and number of users limit the realization of large-scale scalable quantum communication networks, as existing quantum network construction techniques struggle to address these two important factors simultaneously. In this paper, we propose a long-distance large-scale and scalable fully-connected quantum secure direct communication (QSDC) network, which employs a double-pumped structure and the introduction of extra noise to successfully realize QSDC over 300 km between four users in the network in pairs. The results demonstrate that the fidelity of the entangled state shared between users following communication remains above 85%.

Some neonicotinoids have been restricted in outdoor environments due to their risks to pollinating insects, yet their safety for non-target organisms in greenhouses is still unknown. This study investigates the deposition, degradation, and metabolic dynamics of thiacloprid on greenhouse-grown tomato and assesses its toxicity risk to pollinating bumblebees from spatial and temporal perspectives. Spatially, thiacloprid initially concentrated in leaves (71 %) and flowers (23 %), with deposition in the upper plant being 1.

Objective: This study aims to develop a machine learning-based classification model for cognitive impairment (CI) in elderly deaf patients and analyze the contributions of blood indices and hearing characteristics in identifying CI.

Methods: Blood and audiometric data from 833 elderly deaf patients across three NHANES cycles were used to build a classification model with five algorithms: Logistic Regression, Random Forest (RF), XGBoost, Artificial Neural Networks (ANN), and Support Vector Machine (SVM). The optimal model was selected to rank feature importance.

Immune aplastic anemia (iAA) frequently results in transfusion dependence for platelets and packed red blood cells (PRBC), increasing the risk for complications. The most common immune mediated cause for platelet transfusion refractoriness is due to alloimmunization with human leukocyte antigen (HLA) antibody (Ab) to non-self class I antigens (Ag). The clinical impact of the HLA alloimmunization has not been well studied in patients with iAA.

The diffuse Galactic gamma-ray emission is a very important tool used to study the propagation and interaction of cosmic rays in the Milky Way. In this Letter, we report the measurements of the diffuse emission from the Galactic plane-covering Galactic longitudes from 15° to 235° and latitudes from -5° to +5°, in an energy range of 1 to 25 TeV-made with the Water Cherenkov Detector Array (WCDA) of the Large High Altitude Air Shower Observatory. After the sky regions of known sources are masked, the diffuse emission is detected with 24.
