Measurement of CP Violation Observables in D^{+}→K^{-}K^{+}π^{+} Decays.

A search for violation of the charge-parity (CP) symmetry in the D^{+}→K^{-}K^{+}π^{+} decay is presented, with proton-proton collision data corresponding to an integrated luminosity of 5.4  fb^{-1}, collected at a center-of-mass energy of 13 TeV with the LHCb detector. A novel model-independent technique is used to compare the D^{+} and D^{-} phase-space distributions, with instrumental asymmetries subtracted using the D_{s}^{+}→K^{-}K^{+}π^{+} decay as a control channel.

Clinical Manifestations.

Background: The Mini Mental State Exam (MMSE) is a widely used prescreening tool in dementia research.

Method: Psychometric Raters from two sites within the Alcanza Clinical Research network collected MMSE data from 85 potential subjects who presented for memory trials. Subjects were later screened for Alzheimer's Dementia studies, and the results from subsequent administrations of the Clinical Dementia Rating scale were available for 53 of those subjects.

Perspectives of UK Physiotherapists With Expertise in Rheumatology on the Barriers and Facilitators Influencing the Identification of Axial Spondyloarthritis by First Contact Practitioners in Primary Care: A Qualitative Study.

Background: Axial spondyloarthritis (axSpA) poses a significant diagnostic challenge to health care professionals, with opportunities for early recognition often being missed in primary care. With musculoskeletal First Contact Practitioners (FCPs) rapidly becoming common place in primary care settings, the question is raised as to whether FCPs are adequately considering axSpA as a potential diagnosis. Swift recognition and timely referral are the antecedents to early diagnosis and better outcomes for people with suspected axSpA; therefore, it is imperative that FCPs can readily identify this condition.

A large reverse-genetic screen identifies numerous regulators of testis nascent myotube collective cell migration and collective organ sculpting.

Collective cell migration is critical for morphogenesis, homeostasis, and wound healing. Migrating mesenchymal cells form tissues that shape the body's organs. We developed a powerful model, exploring how nascent myotubes migrate onto the testis during pupal development, forming the muscles ensheathing it and creating its characteristic spiral shape.

Provider Perspectives on Implementation of Adult Community-Based Palliative Care: A Scoping Review.

While community-based palliative care (CBPC) programs have been expanding, there remain important obstacles to widespread use. Since provider perspectives on CBPC remain underexplored, we conducted a scoping review to summarize provider perspectives regarding barriers and facilitators to implementation of adult CBPC in the United States. We systematically searched OVID, MEDLINE, and CINAHL for peer-reviewed qualitative research published from January 1, 2010 to January 9, 2024, then used PRISM framework synthesis to organize themes into provider, organization, and external environment levels.
