This retrospective study aims to assess the adjunctive efficacy of warm needle moxibustion and gua sha care in the treatment of eszopiclone tablets on sleep quality and psychological stress in insomnia patients. Data of 138 insomnia patients from Gansu Baoshihua hospital between January and December 2022 were collected. Patients were bifurcated into 2 groups: those solely treated with eszopiclone (n = 71) and those administered a combined regimen of eszopiclone, warm needle moxibustion, and gua sha (n = 67).

NADH dehydrogenase (ubiquinone) 1 alpha subcomplex, 4-like 2 (NDUFA4L2) protein is located in the mitochondria and can regulate cell proliferation. Some studies have shown that the high NDUFA4L2 expression is linked with poor prognosis and cancer progression in various patients with cancers. The development and enantioselective synthesis of two types of -symmetric spirobi[dihydrophenalene] structures is reported. The reaction proceeds via rhodium-catalyzed 2-fold asymmetric conjugate arylation of dienones followed by BF·OEt-promoted spirocyclization to give the enantiopure spiro products. Additive-dependent chemodivergent synthesis of 3,3'-diarylated 2,2',3,3'-tetrahydro-1,1'-spirobi[phenalene]-9,9'-diols (3,3'-Ar-SPHENOLs) and the corresponding spiro diary ethers from the same intermediate is achieved.
