: As the newcomer population in Canada continues to grow, we aimed to collaborate with newcomer families arriving in an urban center in Alberta, Canada to identify strategies to overcome identified barriers newcomers face in obtaining routine childhood vaccines (RCVs). : We recruited newcomers living in Calgary, Alberta to participate in a workshop utilizing the Nominal Group Technique (NGT) to develop solutions addressing barriers to obtaining RCVs. Ranking exercises helped identify the top-proposed interventions based on perceived impact and feasibility for implementation.

The Multi-Kinase Inhibitor GZD824 (Olverembatinib) Shows Pre-Clinical Efficacy in Endometrial Cancer.

Objective: Endometrial cancer is one of the few cancers for which mortality is still increasing. A lack of treatment options remains a major challenge, particularly for some subtypes of the disease. GZD824, also known as olverembatinib, is a multi-kinase inhibitor previously investigated in clinical trials for chronic myeloid leukaemia and Ph+ acute lymphoblastic leukaemia as a BCR-ABL inhibitor.

Cognitive therapy for PTSD following multiple-trauma exposure in children and adolescents: a case series.

Background: Cognitive therapy for PTSD (CT-PTSD) is an efficacious treatment for children and adolescents with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) following single incident trauma, but there is a lack of evidence relating to this approach for youth with PTSD following exposure to multiple traumatic experiences.

Aims: To assess the safety, acceptability and feasibility of CT-PTSD for youth following multiple trauma, and obtain a preliminary estimate of its pre-post effect size.

Method: Nine children and adolescents (aged 8-17 years) with multiple-trauma PTSD were recruited to a case series of CT-PTSD.

Is Racism a Barrier to HIV Care Continuum Engagement among Black People in the US?: A Scoping Review to Assess the State of the Science and Inform a Research Agenda.

People living with HIV (PLWH) can achieve VS through timely HIV care continuum (HCC) engagement (ie, diagnosis, linkage to HIV care, retention in care and adherence to prescribed treatment regimens). Black populations have poorer VS, suboptimal HCC engagement and higher levels of racism-related mistrust. This paper assessed the state of the evidence linking sub-optimal HCC engagement to racism among US Black populations.
