Background: Sample collection is a key driver of accuracy in the diagnosis of SARS-CoV-2 infection. Viral load may vary at different anatomical sampling sites and accuracy may be compromised by difficulties obtaining specimens and the expertise of the person taking the sample. It is important to optimise sampling accuracy within cost, safety and accessibility constraints.

While Large Language Models (LLMs), such as OpenAI's GPT-4, have demonstrated proficiency in answering medical exam questions, their potential in generating such questions remains underexplored. This study presents QUEST-AI, a novel system that utilizes LLMs to (1) generate USMLE-style questions, (2) identify and flag incorrect questions, and (3) correct errors in the flagged questions.

This risk is heightened by episodic hyperkalemia. The purpose of the study was to investigate whether patiromer administered daily reduced episodes of hyperkalemia in those with ESKD who receive HD, and to explore whether prescription of patiromer reduced the number of significant arrhythmia events.
