Objective: This is a multicentric, observational and controlled study designed to verify the existence of a significant association between plaque-type psoriasis and oral lesions, such as geographic tongue and/or fissured tongue.
Study Design: during a period of 9 months all consecutive patients with plaque-type psoriasis were enrolled using simple nonrandom (sequential) sampling. The control group included healthy subjects presenting to the same Dermatology centers to monitor pigmented skin lesions; the patients were matched for age and sex.

Primary cutaneous B-cell lymphomas are defined as malignant B-cell proliferations presenting with cutaneous involvement alone and no evidence of extracutaneous manifestations when complete staging has been performed. It has been shown that the infiltrate in some cases could involve the underlying subcutaneous tissues, but primary localization in this compartment has been rarely reported. We describe here the case of a 53-year-old woman who noticed a nodular lesion on the left shoulder that rapidly enlarged in a few months.

Purpose: To evaluate the efficacy and side effects of psolaren with ultraviolet light A (PUVA) and interferon-alpha-2a (IFN-alpha-2a) in patients with mycosis fungoides (MF) and Sézary syndrome (SS).
Patients And Methods: From May 1993 to January 1999, 63 symptomatic patients with all stages of MF and SS were treated in a prospective Phase II trial with systemic escalating doses of IFN-alpha-2a combined with PUVA for 1 year, followed by indefinite PUVA maintenance in complete responding patients.
Results: Sixty-three patients were enrolled (Stage IA, n = 6; IB, n = 37; IIA, n = 3; IIB, n = 3; III, n = 12; IVA, n = 2).
