The cost of delivering COVID-19 vaccines in Vietnam.

Background: The COVID-19 pandemic affected hundreds of millions of people and lives, and vaccination was the safest and most effective strategy to prevent and mitigate the burden of this disease. The implementation of COVID-19 vaccination in Vietnam in 2021 was unprecedentedly challenging in scale and complexity, yet economic evidence on the cost of delivery vaccines thought the program was lacking.

Methods: This retrospective costing study utilized a bottom-up, ingredient-based approach to estimate the cost of delivering COVID-19 vaccines in Vietnam in 2021, from a payer perspective.

The evaluation of anti-diphtheria toxoid antibodies in healthy population in Kon Tum, Vietnam: a population-based study.

Background: Despite diphtheria immunization are to apply an effective primary immunization in childhood and to maintain immunity throughout life. Cases of diphtheria have been reported in Viet Nam in recent years. The aim of this study was to evaluate the seroprevalence of IgG antibodies to diphtheria toxoid among healthy person population in Kon Tum, Viet Nam.

Service use Decision-Making among Youth Accessing Integrated Youth Services: Applying the Unified Theory of Behavior.

Objective: With the development of 75% of mental health disorders before age 25, it is alarming that service use among youth is so low. Little theoretically driven research has explored the decision-making process youth make when accessing services. This study utilized a decision-making framework, the Unified Theory of Behavior (UTB), to understand service use among youth attending Foundry, a network of integrated youth services centres designed to support the health and wellbeing of youth.

Differential Effects of a Nap on Motor Sequence Learning-Related Functional Connectivity Between Young and Older Adults.

In older adults, motor sequence learning (MSL) is largely intact. However, consolidation of newly learned motor sequences is impaired compared to younger adults, and there is evidence that brain areas supporting enhanced consolidation sleep degrade with age. It is known that brain activity in hippocampal-cortical-striatal areas is important for sleep-dependent, off-line consolidation of motor-sequences.

Association of public health interventions and COVID-19 incidence in Vietnam, January to December 2020.

Background: Vietnam implemented various public health interventions such as contact tracing and testing, mandatory quarantine, and lockdowns in response to coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19). However, the effects of these measures on the epidemic remain unclear.

Methods: This article describes the public health interventions in relation to COVID-19 incidence.
