Background: Neuroendocrine prostate cancer (NEPC) encompasses pure NEPC and tumors with mixed adenocarcinoma and neuroendocrine histology. While NEPC is thought to confer a poor prognosis, outcome data are sparse, making risk stratification and treatment decisions difficult for clinicians.
Methods: This retrospective study identified patients with morphological and/or immunohistochemical NEPC features on pathological review of high-grade prostate cancer cases.

Circadian clocks respond to temperature changes over the calendar year, allowing organisms to adjust their daily biological rhythms to optimize health and fitness. This study aims to evaluate CSF blast cell presence frequency in LA using both techniques (CC and FCM) in our center.
Methods: We analyzed three hundred and eight CSF samples belonging to 175 patients, 57% male, with a median age of 46 years (1-70 years) were analyzed.
Background: Impaired left ventricular relaxation, high filling pressures, and dysregulation of Ca homeostasis are common findings contributing to diastolic dysfunction in hypertrophic cardiomyopathy (HCM). Studies have shown that impaired relaxation is an early observation in the sarcomere-gene-positive preclinical HCM cohort, which suggests the potential involvement of myofilament regulators in relaxation. A molecular-level understanding of mechanism(s) at the level of the myofilament is lacking.
