This latest summary addresses the most recent published resuscitation evidence reviewed by the International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation task force science experts. Members from 6 International Liaison Committee on Resuscitation task forces have assessed, discussed, and debated the quality of the evidence, using Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation criteria, and their statements include consensus treatment recommendations.

Early oral immunotherapy for peanut allergy (P-EOIT) has been shown to be effective and safe in research and specialty clinic settings. Background: Rapid public defibrillation with automated external defibrillators (AEDs) is critical to improving out-of-hospital cardiac arrest survival. Concerns about AED theft and vandalism have led to implementing security measures, including locked cabinets. Introduction: There are many limitations to utilizing on-duty emergency department (ED) physicians as Base Hospital Physicians for paramedic telephone consultations. We aimed to examine the impact of a specialized and centralized Online Medical Consultation program for paramedic consultations on system-relevant performance.

Methods: This is a before-after study with concurrent control using health record review of audio recordings over a 6-month period before and after implementation of the Online Medical Consultation program.
