Context: Anaplastic thyroid carcinomas (ATCs) and poorly differentiated thyroid carcinomas (PDTCs) exhibit distinct immune-related gene expression profiles. Most ATCs are characterized by active immune interactions (hot or altered immunosuppressed immunophenotypes), while PDTCs are largely immunologically inert (cold immunophenotypes).

Objective: This study aimed to elucidate the mechanisms driving these divergent immunological fates, focusing on the Wnt/β-catenin pathway and TP53 mutations.

Purpose: Aims of this study were to investigate the prevalence of TP53 and TERT mutations in Medullary Thyroid carcinoma (MTC) and their role in inducing aggressiveness in positive cases.

Methods: We performed a literature search in PubMed to identify studies investigating the prevalence of TERT and TP53 mutations in MTC. We also included data on MTC cases (n = 193) obtained at our center and unpublished.

JCO We report 4-year results of the phase II randomized AtezoTRIBE study. Eligible patients with metastatic colorectal cancer (mCRC) received first-line fluorouracil, leucovorin, oxaliplatin, and irinotecan (FOLFOXIRI)/bevacizumab (control group, n = 73) or FOLFOXIRI/bevacizumab plus atezolizumab (experimental group, n = 145). We present overall survival (OS) and updated outcomes according to tumor immune-related biomarkers, both in the intention-to-treat (ITT) population and the cohort of patients with proficient mismatch repair (pMMR) tumors.

Purpose: The purpose of the present study is to analyze thyroglossal duct cyst (TGDC) histopathological features, with focus on "arborization", in a cohort of pediatric patients who underwent surgical removal, and evaluate a possible correlation with clinical recurrences.

Methods: A retrospective analysis of all patients who underwent surgical resection for TGDC at the division of Pediatric Surgery of the University of Pisa from 2015 to 2020 was performed; for each patient, the following data were recorded: age, sex, clinical presentation, localization, size of the lesion, diagnostic tools, histopathological features, perioperative complications, recurrence and follow-up.

Results: With respect to arborization, following histopathological analysis 25/30 patients (83.
