Although C2H2 zinc finger transcription factors are important in plant growth, development, and stress resistance, their specific roles in fruit ripening have been less explored. Here, we demonstrate that the C2H2 zinc finger transcription factor 5 (SlZAT5) regulates fruit ripening in tomato (Solanum lycopersicum L.).

Fibroblast growth factor receptors (FGFRs) play an important role in the development and progression of fibrosis. Through scaffold hopping, bioisosteric replacement design, and structure-activity relationship optimization, we developed a series of highly potent FGFRs inhibitors, and the indazole-containing candidate compound A16 showed potent kinase activity comparable to that of AZD4547.

Background: Maternal smoking around birth (MSAB) and early-life breastfeeding (BAB) represent critical factors that may exert enduring effects on neuropsychiatric health. Although previous research has examined these exposures separately, the combined impact of both on disorders such as ADHD, ASD, BD, MDD, ANX, and SCZ remains unclear. This study aims to evaluate the causal relationships between MSAB and BAB and the risk of developing these neuropsychiatric disorders through Mendelian randomization (MR) analysis.

Background: Many studies have compared lip-splitting mandibulotomy (LSM) and lip-mandible preservation (LMP) techniques in oral and oropharyngeal cancer (OOPC) patients with inconsistent conclusions. Evidence-based recommendations for the optimal surgical approach for treating OOPC are lacking.

Methods: The Cochrane Library, Pubmed, Embase, Web of Science, WAN-FANG, CQVIP, and China National Knowledge Infrastructure were systematically searched to identify studies that compared LSM versus LMP for OOPC.
