Management of Chronic Osteomyelitis by an Orthoplastic Team: 7-Year Experience of a University Hospital.

Background: Treating chronic osteomyelitis of the lower extremities is challenging. The treatment of acute lower limb trauma by orthoplastic teams has shown good results over the past few decades. This study aimed to characterize surgical outcomes of leg and heel chronic osteomyelitis by an orthoplastic team.

Intrascrotal injection of botulinum toxin A, a male genital aesthetic demand: Technique and limits.

Introduction: Scrotal rejuvenation is a real male aesthetic demand. Scrotal injection of botulinum toxin makes the testicles smoother, less dangling and subjectively larger.

Methods: Intrascrotal botulinum toxin injections were performed to a 44-year-old patient for aesthetic purposes.

[Unfavorable results of reduction mammoplasty: Causes, preventions and treatments].

Reduction mammoplasty is known to be a highly satisfactory surgery but complications and unfavorable results can occur. The objective was to describe the main unfavorable results, to specify their causes, preventions and treatments. We have analyzed articles from the last ten years regarding reduction mammoplasty complications as well as their main unfavorable results.

An analysis of the biochemical diagnosis of 66 pheochromocytomas.

Objectives: The aims of this study were to determine the performance of each variable, to define the optimal diagnostic thresholds and to determine the relative value of assaying chromogranin A (CgA).

Design: Prospective study.

Methods: Two groups of patients were studied: a control group of 71 patients and a group of 63 patients with a histologically-proven pheochromocytoma (52 pheochromocytomas and 14 paragangliomas).
