Catalytic co-pyrolysis of two different refinery oily sludge (ROS) samples was conducted to facilitate resource recovery. Non-catalytic pyrolysis in temperatures ranging from 500 to 600°C was performed to determine high oil yields. Higher temperatures enhanced the oil yields up to ~ 24 wt%, while char formation remained unchanged (~ 45%) for S1.

In this study, we constructed a heterostructure through a two-step process involving hydrothermal synthesis of CuO nanostructures and subsequent spin coating on MBE-grown InGaN NRs. We found that the CuO content on the InGaN NRs has a great impact on carrier injection at the heterojunction and thus the HS gas sensing performance.

The clinical significance of volatile organic compounds (VOC) in detecting diseases has been established over the past decades. Gas chromatography (GC) devices enable the measurement of these VOCs. Chromatographic peak alignment is one of the important yet challenging steps in analyzing chromatogram signals.
