Mass transfer governs the overall catalytic performance of heterogeneous catalysts considerably; however, this fundamental research has often been ignored. Here, macroporous SiO-supported Pt nanoparticle (Pt/SiO-M) and mesoporous SiO-supported Pt nanoparticle (Pt/SiO-m) catalysts were specifically fabricated by a facile thermal reduction step to engineer the resultant Pt nanoparticles showing similar physiochemical properties while possessing completely different porous microstructures exclusively originating from SiO supports. On this basis, a platform to explore the crucial mass transfer difference affecting catalytic activity is then established by systematically practicing industry-important benzene oxidation measurements.

Design: The study was conducted using a questionnaire-based cross-sectional design.
Methods: From October 2023 to March 2024, convenience sampling was used to distribute electronic questionnaires (including a general information questionnaire, the Maslach Burnout Inventory, the Psychological Detachment Scale, and the Social Support Scale) to investigate the current state of job burnout, psychological detachment, and social support among nurses.
Background: As hypothermic circulatory arrest (HCA) is being more frequently induced in patients undergoing aortic arch surgery, its safety at different degrees has become a crucial area of study. The aim of this study was to assess the surgical outcomes of mild hypothermic circulatory arrest (MI-HCA) during aortic arch surgery.
Methods: Acute type A aortic dissection (ATAAD) patients who underwent total arch replacement (TAR) and frozen elephant trunk (FET) surgery between January 2014 and December 2023 were enrolled in this study.
Background: Phenolic pollutants with high toxicity and low biodegradability can disrupt environmental balance and severely affect human health, whereas existing methods are difficult to implement the rapid and high-throughput detection of multiple phenolic pollutants.
Results: Herein, we developed a four-dimensional colorimetric sensor array based on imidazole-modulated Cu@MOFs for distinguishing and determining phenolic pollutants. Wherein, four Cu@MOFs (ATP@Cu, ADP@Cu, AMP@Cu, and GMP@Cu) nanozyme with laccase-like activity were firstly prepared, and a novel strategy of imidazole-containing molecules-regulated was proposed to improve the laccase-like activity of Cu@MOFs nanozymes.
Surgical coaching has been proven to effectively enhance clinical performance. However, diverse implementation strategies present challenges when initiating new programs. Our scoping review aimed to synthesize the existing literature on surgical coaching, thereby informing the direction of future coaching initiatives.
