Laryngocele is an abnormal dilatation of Morgagni ventricle (saccule) in direct communication with the laryngeal lumen. Symptoms are not characteristic: hoarseness, dyspnea, foreign body sensation and cough. Sometimes it is presented as cervical swelling causing airway obstruction and need an emergency tracheotomy.

After presenting 3 cases of maxillary sinus mucocele, met with all along 22 years, the authors bring forth some etiopathogenic, clinic and radiologic considerations, shown through the data in literature. They underline the complex, polymorphic, uncharacteristic radiological and clinical aspect. The exploratory puncture is of real help for a precise diagnosis, in this case, and is easy to perform.
