Knowledge of the chemical composition of propolis is crucial for understanding the characteristics of products of different origins, but also for quality control and regulatory purposes. To date, official monographs or official analyses that allow researchers to evaluate propolis in a proper way have not yet been released. This study focuses on the characterization of twenty-seven Italian propolis samples and the identification of chemical markers that define its geographical provenance.

The indirect modulation of NMDAR-mediated neurotransmission through inhibition of serine racemase (SR)-the enzyme responsible for the synthesis of the NMDAR coagonist d-serine-has been suggested as a therapeutic strategy to treat these conditions. Despite the inherent challenges posed by SR conformational flexibility, a ligand-based drug design strategy has successfully produced a series of potent covalent inhibitors structurally related to amino acid analogues.

In addition, medical guidelines are the most accepted documents with recommendations to manage NCDs.
Objective: The present study aims to analyze the lack of lifestyle pillars concerning the major Brazilian medical guidelines for NCDs and identify evidence in the literature that could justify their inclusion in the documents.
COVID-19 is mainly described as endothelial dysfunction, and due to the bidirectional link between oxidative stress and endothelial dysfunction, we initiated a program directed to the evaluation of the oxidative status of the population of Rwanda by measuring spectrophotometrically their plasma Reactive Oxygen Metabolites (d-ROMs) and Plasma Antioxidant Potential (PAT). The reference population was chosen to reflect the absence of actual or past SARS-CoV-2 infections as well as other clinically established infective status and reference intervals for d-ROM and PAT were identified. The average d-ROM was 378.

The aim of the study was to evaluate the response to ELX/TEZ/IVA treatment both clinically and morphologically in terms of bronchiectasis, bronchial wall thickening, mucus plugging, abscess and consolidations.
Methods: We retrospectively collected data from CF patients followed at Parma CF Centre (Italy) treated by ELX/TEZ/IVA between March and November 2021.
