Objective: In this discussion, we build the case for why climate change is an emerging threat to perinatal mental health.

Method: A search of current literature on perinatal and maternal mental health and extreme weather events was conducted in PubMed/MEDLINE and Web of Science databases. Only articles focusing on maternal mental health were included in this narrative review.

Terrestrial evidence for ocean forcing of Heinrich events and subglacial hydrologic connectivity of the Laurentide Ice Sheet.

During the last glacial period, the Laurentide Ice Sheet (LIS) underwent episodes of rapid iceberg discharge, recorded in ocean sediments as "Heinrich events" (HEs). Two competing models attempt to describe the stimulus for HEs via either internal ice sheet oscillations or external ocean-climate system forcing. We present a terrestrial record of HEs from the northeastern LIS that strongly supports ocean-climate forcing.

Introducing the Postpartum Toolkit: An Examination of the Feasibility, Acceptability and Pilot Efficacy of an Online Clinical Tool to Enhance Postpartum Functioning and Emotional Wellbeing.

During the postpartum period, a birth parent's level of functioning (ability to perform the activities and roles required to maintain wellbeing) is critical in determining the health of parents and their infants. However, existing approaches to support postpartum parents are insufficient, especially in the United States, and these individuals face barriers to care. The utilization of internet-based intervention may be an effective solution allowing access to resources for this population.

Open-Label Dose Optimization of Methylphenidate Extended-Release Orally Disintegrating Tablet in a Laboratory Classroom Study of Children with Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder.

To examine the efficacy, safety, and tolerability of methylphenidate extended-release orally disintegrating tablets (MPH XR-ODT) for the treatment of attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) during the open-label dose-optimization/stabilization period of a phase 3 laboratory classroom study. Children (6-12 years) diagnosed with ADHD were enrolled. Treatment was initiated with MPH XR-ODT 20 mg daily.
