Endometriosis is a chronic condition affecting approximately 1 in 10 women of childbearing age, significantly impacting their daily lives, mental health, and quality of life. This study explores the relationship between chronic pain, patient engagement, and quality of life among women with endometriosis. Utilizing a sample of 354 women the study employed the WHOQOL-BREF, Patient Health Engagement Scale, and Numerical Pain Rating Scale to measure QoL, engagement, and pain intensity, respectively.

The mean age at childbirth in Europe has gradually increased, and it is now around 29 years of age. It has been shown that older maternal age is associated with problems of fertility; in fact, with increasing age, the chance of conceiving diminishes, and fetal and obstetric complications grow. Background: The aim of this systematic review and meta-analysis was to examine the prevalence of feeding and eating disorder (FED) symptoms or dysfunctional eating behaviours (DEB) in the general population during the COVID-19 outbreak.

Method: We searched eligible articles in biomedical databases from 1 January 2020 to 31 March 2022. Prevalence rates of FED or DEB changes between pre-pandemic and pandemic time and correlation with psychological distress were pooled with a meta-analysis using a random-effects model.
