Among 1,000 consecutive patients referred for coronary arteriography because of chest pain, 89 patients were found to have a non-dominant right coronary artery (NDRCA). These patients were compared to 89 consecutive patients with dominant right coronary artery (DRCA) matched for age, sex, smoking and serum cholesterol. There was a lower incidence of obstructive disease in NDRCA (23 of 89 patients, 26%) than in DRCA (55 of 89 patients, 62%), X2 = 23.

The mineral fragments that constitute the Apollo 11 microbreccia and fines show a number of shock-induced microstructural effects including multiple twinning on (001) in clinopyroxene and incipient development of lattice-controlled discontinuities in olivine. These structures coupled with the effects of shock-induced melting as manifested by spherules and angular fragments of glass and their partly to completely crystallized equivalents indicate that Apollo 11 materials were subjected to weak to moderate shocks with associated peak pressures of the order of 100 to 200 kilobars.

The recently reported Pronounced decrease in shear strength of serpentine-bearing rocks at 30 to 40 kilobars in the temperature range 300 degrees to 520 degrees C may be attributed to the transformation of serpentine to a Pressure-dependent, 10-angstrom,2: 1 layer silicate plus brucite and periclase. This reaction increases density by about 8.5 percent.

The high-pressure cubic metallic form of indium telluride, InTe(II), transforms at 1 atmosphere to a new transitory polymorph, designated InTe(II'), which, in turn, transforms to the stable tetragonal polymorph InTe(I). The new polymorph is apparently tetragonal with unit-cell dimensions a(0) = 6.06 A, c(0) = 6.
