In order for patients to gain the benefit of innovation in cardiac CT, it is necessary for coding, coverage, and payment to adapt to the novelty of algorithm-based healthcare procedures and services (ABHS). Appendix S to the CPT Code Set, the "AI Taxonomy", enables creation of discrete and differentiable codes for reimbursement of ABHS which has been clinically validated and FDA-labeled. Payment policy in OPPS and PFS is evolving to take account of the unique opportunities and issues arising from the clinical adoption of ABHS.

Ion conductive hydrogels are relevant components in wearable, biocompatible, and biodegradable electronics. Polyvinyl-alcohol (PVA) homopolymer is often the favored choice for integration into supercapacitors and energy harvesters as in sustainable triboelectric nanogenerators (TENGs). However, to further improve hydrogel-based TENGs, a deeper understanding of the impact of their composition and structure on devices performance is necessary.

In this study, the laser-induced graphitization process of sustainable chitosan-based formulations was investigated. In particular, optimal lasing conditions were investigated alongside the effect of borax concentration in the chitosan matrix. In all cases, it was found that the obtained formulations were graphitizable with a CO laser.

Chitosan-based hybrid nanocomposites, containing cellulose nanocrystals (CNCs), graphene oxide (GO), and borate as crosslinking agents, were successfully prepared by solution-casting technique. The synergistic effect of the two fillers, and the role of the cross-linker, in enhancing the structural and functional properties of the chitosan polymer, was investigated. XPS results confirm the chemical interaction between borate ions and hydroxyl groups of chitosan, GO, and CNCs.

Display and native ads represent two of the most widely used digital advertising formats employed by advertisers that aim to grab the attention of online users. In recent years, the native format has become very popular because it relies on deceptive features that make harder the recognition of its advertising nature, reducing avoiding behaviors such as the banner blindness phenomena, traditionally associated to display advertising, and so increasing its advertising effectiveness. The present study, based on a forefront research protocol specifically designed for the advertising research on smartphone devices, aims to investigate through neurophysiological and self-reported measures, the perception of display and native ads placed within article webpages, and to assess the efficacy of an integrated approach.
