Ocular toxoplasmosis is the leading cause of infectious retinochoroiditis in both adults and children. It is caused by the obligate intracellular parasite, Toxoplasma gondii. It is a common cause of posterior uveitis and focal retinitis, typically seen in immunocompetent individuals as a primary infection or in immunocompromised individuals as reactivation of latent infection.

We tested whether pre-operative motor subtyping using the modified Tremor/PIGD ratio, could indicate the short-term motor, non-motor and quality of life (QOL) outcomes of STN-DBS.
Method: In this prospective study, 39 consecutive STN-DBS cases were assessed in Drug-OFF state before surgery and subtyped using the ratio of tremor and PIGD scores (T/P ratio).
Background And Objective: We evaluate prognostic factors and patterns of recurrence in patients who received RT ± androgen deprivation therapy (ADT) for pathologic node-positive (pN1) prostate cancer (PCa) in a multi-institutional cohort.
Methods: Data from patients with pN1 PCa and received RT with short term (ST, ≤6 mo) or long term (LT, >6 mo) ADT were obtained from 4 academic institutions. Biochemical progression free survival (bPFS) and distant metastasis free survival (DMFS) were evaluated.
Turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) has gained significant attention for its medicinal properties, yet its therapeutic applications are often limited by low aqueous solubility and susceptibility to environmental factors. This study investigates the formulation of a curcumin-rich turmeric extract-β-cyclodextrin inclusion complex (TUE-β-CD) to enhance its bioactivity and stability.

Supramolecular extensive hydrogen-bonding and J-aggregate type centrosymmetric discrete-dimers or a 1D chain of s led to red emission ( = 610-636 nm) in crystals. Unlike in the solution phase showing one absorption band, in thin films and in crystals the transition from the S state to both the S state and S state becomes feasible.
