Case Presentation: A female patient with a known history of pustular psoriasis presented with sub-acute development of diffuse erythema and scaling of the skin with areas of exfoliation consistent with erythroderma. She was ill appearing and required admission and aggressive treatment with steroid-impregnated wet dressings, topical emollients, analgesics, and systemic immunosuppressants.
Discussion: Erythroderma is a dermatologic emergency characterized by diffuse erythema and scaling spanning greater than 90% of skin surfaces and is associated with a mortality rate as high as 64%.
Case Presentation: We describe a case of a 57-year-old male with multiple medical comorbidities who presented to the emergency department with a two-week history of upper back pain with associated numbness. Physical exam demonstrated sensory loss in a bilateral third and fourth thoracic dermatome distribution. The diagnosis of spinal arachnoid web was made based on neurological exam and imaging findings.

The donor building blocks were laid out for the elongation of a core trisaccharide acceptor (beta-mannosyl chitobiose) conveniently protected with a single benzylidene moiety at the beta-mannoside. Through two consecutive regio- and stereoselective couplings the donors gave N-glycans with three to five antennae in high yields.

Abstract In some situations, combined psychotherapy may not be merely a choice, but a necessity for successful treatment. I present a case report of a hospitalized Vietnam veteran who had sexually abused one of his daughters. In individual therapy, the patient learned to speak about himself, his significant guilt, and his shame, in a trusting environment.
