To compare the outcome of fixed suture trabeculectomy with releasable suture trabeculectomy in terms of IOP control, bleb morphology, complications and need of antiglaucoma medication post-surgery. This study enlisted 200 cases of open angle glaucoma, whose IOP was uncontrolled despite maximal medication. Trabeculectomy was performed using releasable suture in one group of 100 patients and fixed suture in another group of 100 with mitomycin 0.

Aim: To study the clinical, histopathological, and immunohistochemical (IHC) profile, management and outcome of children with AT/RT of the central nervous system who presented between the years 2007 and 2015 in a regional tertiary care center in South India.
Materials And Methods: This was a retrospective study.
The circadian clock and the hypoxic signaling pathway play critical roles in physiological homeostasis as well as in pathogenesis. The bi-directionality of the interaction between both pathways has been shown on physiological and only recently also on molecular level. But the consequences of a disturbed circadian rhythm for the hypoxic response and the cardiovascular system have never been addressed in any organism.

In this paper, we present a miniaturized endoscopic probe, consisted of MEMS micromirror, silicon optical bench (SiOB), grade index (GRIN) lens, single mode optical fiber (SMF) and transparent housing, for optical coherence tomography (OCT) bioimaging. Due to the use of the MEMS micromirror, the endoscopic OCT system is highly suitable for non-invasive imaging diagnosis of a wide variety of inner organs. The probe engineering and proof of concept were demonstrated by obtaining the two-dimensional OCT images with a cover slide and an onion used as standard samples and the axial resolution was around 10µm.
