A dataset of paired head and eye movements during visual tasks in virtual environments.

We describe a multimodal dataset of paired head and eye movements acquired in controlled virtual reality environments. Our dataset includes head and eye movement for n = 25 participants who interacted with four different virtual reality environments that required coordinated head and eye behaviors. Our data collection involved two visual tracking tasks and two visual searching tasks.

Development of a checklist for evaluation of shared decision-making in consultation for extremely preterm delivery.

Objective: Shared decision-making (SDM) between parents facing extremely preterm delivery and the medical team is recommended to develop the best course of action for neonatal care. We aimed to describe the creation and testing of a literature-based checklist to assess SDM practices for consultation with parents facing extremely preterm delivery.

Study Design: The checklist of SDM counseling behaviors was created after literature review and with expert consensus.

Drug overdose deaths remain a public health crisis in the United States; nearly 107,000 and nearly 108,000 deaths occurred in 2021 and 2022, respectively. Persons with mental health conditions are at increased risk for overdose. In addition, substance use disorders and non-substance-related mental health disorders (MHDs) frequently co-occur.
