Background: Remote monitoring using electronic patient-reported outcomes (ePROs) may help identify immune-related adverse events (irAEs) and direct self-management. There is no consensus regarding thresholds to alert providers about potentially severe irAEs or when to instigate evidence-based self-management. We aimed to develop consensus around alert thresholds and self-management advice for side-effects suggestive of an irAE which can be deployed as part of remote monitoring systems.

Cancer-associated thrombosis (CAT) remains a challenging aspect of managing patients with cancer. This review discusses evidence regarding anticoagulants in the treatment of CAT, with particular emphasis on direct oral anticoagulants (DOAC). Apixaban, rivaroxaban and edoxaban have proven attractive alternatives to low-molecular weight heparins, and interactions with medical cancer treatment does not pose a major challenge.

Introduction: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) carry the risk of immune-related adverse events (irAEs), a significant concern as therapy has transitioned to the adjuvant setting. Balancing therapeutic benefits against potential risks is crucial, necessitating real-world data from an unselected patient population in addition to clinical trial data to ensure optimal clinical decision-making.
Methods: This nationwide real-world study assessed irAEs in patients receiving adjuvant anti-PD1 therapy, primarily nivolumab, for resected stage III-IV melanoma between 2018-2022.
Background: Supportive care to ensure optimal quality of life is an essential component of cancer care and symptom control across the lifespan. Ongoing advances in cancer treatment, increasing toxicity from many novel treatment regimes, and variations in access to care and cancer outcomes across the globe and resource settings present significant challenges for supportive care delivery. To date, no overarching framework has been developed to guide supportive care development worldwide.
