The purpose of this study was to do a retrospective analysis about patients with zygomatic arch who were treated at the department of Maxillofacial Surgery, Regional University Hospital of Ancona, Italy, between 2007 and 2021. Patients were evaluated based on various parameters including age, sex, aetiology, symptoms, comorbidity, clinical findings, zygomatic arch fracture type, other facial fractures, treatment, waiting time before the operation, complications and sequelae. In the period described we recorded 103 zygomatic arch fractures.

From January 2009 to May 2024, 34 patients (20 males, 14 females, mean age 34 years) with 36 condylar fractures were treated using this approach. Surgical outcomes were assessed based on occlusal relationship, maximum mouth opening, and facial nerve function (House-Brackmann scale).

Methods: we identified 44 CPMBT in 44 children.
The association between Neurofibromatosis type I (NF1) and multiple myeloma (MM), a plasma cell, dyscrasia is very rare. Here we put to the attention of the scientific community two new cases. The first one is a patient with active MM whereas the second with smoldering MM.
