Article Synopsis
- The study aimed to find the best concentration of glutathione for preserving the sperm of Seurukan fish (Osteochilus vittatus) during cryopreservation.
- Six treatments with different glutathione concentrations (0, 10, 20, 30, 40, and 50 mg/L) were tested, and the effects on sperm motility, fertilization, and hatching rates were measured.
- Results indicated that while a concentration of 30 mg/L improved sperm motility, a concentration of 50 mg/L yielded the highest fertilization and hatching rates; however, 40 mg/L was deemed the optimal concentration for overall effectiveness.
