This article presents the first results for elemental composition of 193 fragments ceramic from four sites located in Ventarrón-Collud archaeological complex, Peru. The results from EDXRF and multivariate analysis indicated statistical similarity among four groups of ceramic fragments, selected by remarkable stylistic variation, collected from different archaeological space/time contexts. The correspondence in the elemental composition of the ceramic paste of the artifacts corroborates the hypothesis that similar raw materials were used consistently throughout the entire occupation of this archaeological complex.

Tiapride is a substituted benzamide widely used in the management of agitation and aggressiveness in the elderly. The development of an oral solution is of particular interest in geriatric medicine and in patients with difficulties swallowing solid formulations. The bioequivalence between a sweetened, flavoured oral drop and tablet forms of tiapride was investigated in a crossover design in 18 healthy male volunteers after a 100mg single-dose administration of each formulation.

The Streptomyces sp. strain C5 snp locus is comprised of two divergently oriented genes: snpA, a metalloproteinase gene, and snpR, which encodes a LysR-like activator of snpA transcription. The transcriptional start point of snpR is immediately downstream of a strong T-N(11)-A inverted repeat motif likely to be the SnpR binding site, while the snpA transcriptional start site overlaps the ATG start codon, generating a leaderless snpA transcript.
