Sociodemographic profiles of Indigenous households in the 1991, 2000, and 2010 censuses.

This article analyzes the sociodemographic composition of the Indigenous population in Brazil in the 1991, 2000, and 2010 demographic censuses, in addition to investigating inequalities in access to basic sanitation and electricity based on the 2010 Census. A methodology is proposed that classifies households with Indigenous residents as "homogeneous", "mixed" with an Indigenous in the category "household head", and mixed with a non-Indigenous in the category "household head". Regional and situational differences overlapped with differences by type of household and location, with better conditions in urban than rural areas and in the Southeast and South.

Effectiveness of Aerobic Training for Adverse Symptoms Related to Chemotherapy During Treatment: Protocol for a Randomized Controlled Trial With Cost-Effectiveness Assessment.

Background: One strategy to prevent adverse effects resulting from chemotherapy treatment is to perform physical exercises during treatment. However, there is still no consensus on the best type and intensity of exercise, nor when it should be started. Most studies have been carried out in patients with breast cancer, usually a few weeks after starting chemotherapy, on an outpatient basis 2 to 3 times a week.

Estimated annual costs of Chikungunya fever in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Objective: To estimate the cost of illness of Chikungunya in the municipality of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in 2019.

Methods: The study is a partial economic evaluation carried out with secondary data with free and unrestricted access. Direct outpatient and indirect costs of the acute, post-acute, and chronic phases of Chikungunya fever were estimated, in addition to hospital costs.

Ecological aspects of sand fly fauna (Diptera: Psychodidae, Phlebotominae) of Sumidouro District, State of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Aiming to compare and update the sand fly fauna of Portão de Pedra site, Sumidouro District, Rio de Janeiro State, Brazil, and considering the environmental changes occurred, the biology and ecology of the local sandfly species were examined five years later as a complementary study carried.
