Matrix lithiasis within the bladder is an extremely rare and diagnostically challenging condition, characterized by its atypical presentation and complex imaging appearance. We report the case of a 69-year-old woman with nonspecific urinary symptoms, including hematuria and abdominal pain. Initial ultrasonography revealed an echogenic lesion on the bladder wall, leading to further investigations using computed tomography (CT) and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI).

Unlabelled: Adiposity is a chronic disease that must be treated from childhood. Despite the transcendence of improving habits, few interventions report their contribution to decreasing adiposity.

Methods: This cohort enrolled children and teens of any gender, 8-18 years old, and with a body mass index (BMI) z-score of ≥1 into "Sacbe", a comprehensive program to identify which eating habits could reduce BMI z-score.

Background: Perianal injuries in adults with hematologic malignancies can result in sepsis or death. Patients on a 36-bed acute care oncology unit experienced increased perianal injuries from 2018 to 2021 based on a chart review, which revealed that 24 patients with leukemia, all of whom had received cytarabine, developed perianal injuries.

Objectives: This study examined whether a nurse-led educational intervention would decrease perianal injuries.
