Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the relationship between the cochlear nerve and the anatomical structures of the cochlea and internal acoustic canal in patients with congenital hearing loss.
Materials And Methods: Temporal tomography and magnetic resonance images of 44 patients (88 ears) with non-syndromic congenital hearing loss were retrospectively analyzed between 2018 and 2021. Patients were divided into 2 groups according to cochlear nerve hypoplasia.

Objective: Appendicitis typically develops secondary to obstruction of appendiceal lumen and one of the causes of obstruction is appendicolith. Appendicolith has become a relevant issue due to heightened interest in the treatment of uncomplicated appendicitis with antibiotics. This study aimed to determine the prevalence of appendicolith in pediatric patients with appendicitis and to investigate the association between the presence of appendicoliths and radiological disease severity.

First, optical, structural, thermal, and surface characterizations of A-ZIF-8 nanocrystals were performed, and the successful incorporation of anthocyanins into ZIF-8 nanocrystals was demonstrated. Next, A-ZIF-8 was added into PVA, and multilayer films were fabricated by spin-coating PVA/A-ZIF-8 layers onto BNC.
