The purpose of this study was to determine whether the longitudinal progression of decline in left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) in Duchenne muscular dystrophy (DMD) patients is moderated by ADRB1 genotype and whether the efficacy of ß-blocker therapy is influenced by genotype status. About 147 DMD patients (6-34 years.) were analyzed with a focus on β adrenergic receptor (ADRB1) genotype variants.

Objective: Cardiac resynchronization therapy is the guideline-directed treatment option in selected heart failure with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction patients. Data regarding the contemporary clinical practice of cardiac resynchronization therapy in Turkey have been published recently. This sub-study aims to compare clinical and periprocedural characteristics between cardiac resynchronization therapy upgrade and de novo implantations.

The objective of this study was to investigate the rate of ischemic stroke/TIA, major bleeding, and death compared among AF patients who received oral anticoagulant (OAC) alone, antiplatelet alone, or OAC plus antiplatelet.
Methods: Prospective data from the COOL-AF Registry (Thailand's largest multicenter nationwide AF registry) were analyzed.
