A review on nanomaterial-based electrodes for the electrochemical detection of chloramphenicol and furazolidone antibiotics.

To grow food for people, antibiotics were used, and these antibiotics can accumulate in the human body through food metabolism, which may have remarkably harmful effects on human health and safety. Therefore, low-cost sensors are needed for the detection of antibiotic residues in food samples. Recently, nanomaterial-based electrochemical sensors such as carbon nanoparticles, graphene nanoparticles, metal oxide nanoparticles, metal nanoparticles, and metal-organic nanostructures have been successfully used as sensing materials for the detection of chloramphenicol (CP) and furazolidone (FZ) antibiotics.

Combined strategy for tuning sensor-less brushless DC motor using SEPIC converter to reduce torque ripple.

The brushless DC motor (BLDCM) is widely used in computer numerical control (CNC) machines, aerospace applications and auto industry applications in the field of robotics. But it is still affected by the transmission torque ripple, which mostly depends on the speed and the transient line current at the transmission interval. This manuscript proposes a combined approach for tuning sensor-less brushless DC (BLDC) motors using a single-ended primary-inductor converter (SEPIC).

Berberine induces neuronal differentiation through inhibition of cancer stemness and epithelial-mesenchymal transition in neuroblastoma cells.

Background: Berberine, a plant alkaloid, has been used since many years for treatment of gastrointestinal disorders. It also shows promising medicinal use against metabolic disorders, neurodegenerative disorders and cancer; however its efficacy in neuroblastoma (NB) is poorly explored.

Hypothesis: EMT is important in cancer stemness and metastasis resulting in failure to differentiate; thus targeting EMT and related pathways can have clinical benefits.
