The study presents the chemiluminescence based (CL) evaluation of the recyclability of linear styrene block copolymers. This analysis can provide insight into the material's degradation state and predict its suitability for further recycling cycles, helping to avoid unnecessary energy consumption during processing.The thermal stability of four similar copolymer structures - styrene-isoprene-styrene (SIS), styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) copolymers with different styrene/butadiene ratios, and styrene-ethylene-butadiene-styrene (SEBS) - was studied using isothermal and non-isothermal chemiluminescence (CL).

Sternal Metastasis from Serous Ovarian Carcinoma - A Narrative Review Highlighting the Importance of Multidisciplinary Management in These Cases.

Sternal metastases of serous ovarian carcinoma are extremely rare conditions, with less than 10 articles published in the medical literature on this subject. The aim of this article is to present a case of late-onset sternal metastasis of serous ovarian carcinoma in a patient who underwent surgery for serous ovarian carcinoma approximately 6 years before and to provide a review of the literature regarding the importance of multidisciplinary management in such cases. Material and Method: We aimed to conduct a review of the specialized literature concerning published articles on sternal metastases from ovarian serous carcinoma over a period of approximately 30 years, from January 1, 1994, to December 31, 2023.

Nephrotic syndrome is a common condition characterized by filtration of large amounts of protein, hypoalbuminemia, reduced plasma oncotic pressure, sodium retention, and edema. The mechanism responsible for sodium retention in this condition is still controversial. Two different pathophysiological pathways have been proposed to explain edema formation: activation of neurohumoral effector mechanisms, including the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system, or abnormal intrinsic/primary renal sodium retention.

Influence of Biogenic Material Content on the Biodegradability of Styrene-Butadiene Composites with Incorporated Biomass.

Bio-fillers are intensively studied for advanced polymer composite circular design and production. In this context, the algal biomass may be considered an important and relatively low-cost resource, when harvested as a by-product from wastewater treatment plants. The biomass of the algal species is frequently used in this type of environmental process, and its macro constituents' composition ranges from around 15-25% carbohydrates, 10-20% lipids, and 50-60% proteins.
