Hybrid Repair of a Common Carotid Pseudoaneurysm and Concomitant Internal Carotid Stenosis With Retrograde Stenting and Carotid Endarterectomy.

This report aims to present a rare case of a common carotid artery (CCA) pseudoaneurysm with a concomitant internal carotid artery (ICA) stenosis that were treated with a hybrid technique. This strategy included the retrograde placement of a CCA covered stent under ICA clamping followed by standardized carotid endarterectomy. The technique will be discussed and compared with other possible treatments.

Late Sac Rupture due to a Type IV Endoleak after Previous Endovascular Aortic Aneurysm Repair: A Case Report.

Type IV endoleaks have been identified as endoleaks of low flow, and rupture risk has been estimated to be minimal in literature. Therefore, conservative treatment has been recommended in most cases. We are presenting a rare case of late rupture due to type IV endoleak that was treated with open repair applying a novel surgical technique.

Synovial cyst of the antecubital fossa mimicking a brachial artery pseudoaneurysm: report of a case.

Pseudoaneurysms of the brachial artery are common following a percutaneous cardiac catheterization. Synovial cysts are a commonly identified entity in patients with rheumatic diseases as well. We present a rare case of a synovial cyst in the elbow masquerading as an iatrogenic pseudoaneurysm of the brachial artery.

Assessment of two devices for in vitro preparation of human sperm.

The aim of the study was to assess and compare the efficiency of the ZSC-II versus the Sperm Select techniques in preparing human sperm from normozoospermic patients for use in intrauterine insemination and other assisted reproductive technologies. Twenty-five patients were included in the study. Semen was collected at intercourse and processed via 2 sperm preparation methods.
