Background: The study objective was to develop and validate a clinical decision support system (CDSS) to guide clinicians through the diagnostic evaluation of hospitalized individuals with suspected pulmonary tuberculosis (TB) in low-prevalence settings.
Methods: The "TBorNotTB" CDSS was developed using a modified Delphi method. The CDSS assigns points based on epidemiologic risk factors, TB history, symptoms, chest imaging, and sputum/bronchoscopy results.
The goal of this study was to compare the bioaccumulation of the PCB mixture Aroclor 1254 in zebrafish to cardiac and neurologic outcomes. The establishment of effect concentrations (ECs) for cardiac and neurotoxic effects of PCBs in early life stage fish is challenging due to a lack of measured PCB concentrations in test media (e.g.

The characteristic blinking and bleaching behavior of the Cy3 and the blinking behavior of the QD emitters were used as distinguishing optical characteristics to isolate them and determine their centroid locations with spatial resolution below the optical diffraction limit. TCSPC was used to characterize the fluorescence lifetime and intensity corresponding to each emitter location.
