Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) display four histological subtypes: gastric foveolar, pancreaticobiliary, intestinal, and oncocytic. All of these subtypes harbor a different risk of cancer development. The clinical impact of these subtypes concerning the occurrence of high-grade dysplasia (HGD)/cancer (C) in specific morphological types, such as branch-duct (BD), main-duct (MD), and mixed-type (MT) IPMNs, has been less investigated.

Glucose and insulin tolerance tests are simple experimental tests frequently used worldwide to assess glucose metabolism in mice. Various guidelines and methodological considerations have been published to help researchers standardize procedures and optimize research outcomes.

However, our understanding of the interconnected pathways between diagnosed sarcopenia and aging remains limited, lacking sufficient scientific evidence.
Methods: This narrative review aims to gather and describe the current evidence on the relationship between biological aging determinants, commonly referred to as the hallmarks of aging, and diagnosed sarcopenia in humans.
Aims: While factors associated with adverse events are well elucidated in setting of isolated left ventricular dysfunction, clinical and imaging-based prognosticators of adverse outcomes are lacking in context of biventricular dysfunction. The purpose of this study was to establish role of clinical variables in prognosis of biventricular heart failure (HF), as assessed by cardiac magnetic resonance imaging.
Methods: Study cohort consisted of 840 patients enrolled in DERIVATE registry with coexisting CMR-derived right ventricular (RV) and left ventricular (LV) dysfunction, as defined by RV and LV ejection fractions ≤45 % and ≤ 50 %, respectively.
