Female underrepresentation in Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology is a well-known issue worldwide, including in Belgium. Most of the literature comes from northern America. This two-part study aims to quantify the female workforce in orthopedic surgery in Belgium and assess the presence of unconscious biases among active orthopedic surgeons.

The CT scan suggested disseminated tuberculosis and T5-T6 spondylodiscitis. Here, we describe a case of longstanding untreated hyperparathyroidism presenting itself with brown tumors in a 65-year-old patient. During the diagnostic work-up of this patient, bone SPECT/CT and F-FDG-PET/CT revealed multiple widespread osteolytic lesions.
