Transcriptomics Reveals the Pathway for Increasing L. Yield under Foliar Application of Titanium Oxide Nanoparticles.

In this study, L seedlings after 6 weeks of soil cultivation were treated with foliar application of TiO NPs (20 mg/L) for different times. Transcriptomics analysis was employed to investigate the impact of TiO NPs on the physiology, growth, and yield of L. Results showed that TiO NPs' exposure significantly increased the biomass, total phosphorus, and catalase enzyme activity by 23.

Relevant Aspects in the Mechanical and Aging Degradation of NiTi Alloy with R-Phase in Endodontic Files.

One of the most important challenges in endodontics is to have files that have excellent flexibility, toughness, and high fatigue life. Superelastic NiTi alloys have been a breakthrough and the new R-phase NiTi alloys promise to further optimize the good properties of NiTi alloys. In this work, two austenitic phase endodontic files with superelastic properties (Protaper and F6) and two austenitic phase files with the R-phase (M-wire and Reciproc) have been studied.

The Maipo River catchment is one of Chile's most polluted basins. In recent decades, discharges of untreated sewage and organic matter have caused eutrophication and water quality degradation. We employed the indigenous silverfish species Basilichthys microlepidotus as a model organism to investigate the process of adaptation and selection on genes influenced by pollution.

Behavior analysts frequently use the Verbal Behavior Milestones Assessment and Placement Program (VB-MAPP) to assess the language and social skills of children with autism in everyday practice and in research. Despite the widespread use of the VB-MAPP, its psychometric characteristics have not been extensively investigated. To provide information about its convergent validity, we calculated correlations between scores earned by 235 children with autism on the VB-MAPP and the Vineland Adaptive Behavior Scale (VABS), a commonly used assessment with good reliability and validity.
