WCS417 Strain Enhances Tomato ( L.) Plant Growth Under Alkaline Conditions.

Iron (Fe) deficiency is among the most important agronomical concerns under alkaline conditions. Bicarbonate is considered an important factor causing Fe deficiency in dicot plants, mainly on calcareous soils. Current production systems are based on the use of high-yielding varieties and the application of large quantities of agrochemicals, which can cause major environmental problems.

Facial palsy after orthognathic surgery: An integrative analysis of literature reports and an illustrative case.

Background: To describe a case of a patient with PFP after orthognathic surgery and discuss cases reports on temporary or permanent facial paralysis, factors that trigger injury, and treatment for facial paralysis associated with orthognathic surgery.

Material And Methods: This study has two parts: a report of the case of a 20- year-old man who underwent orthognathic surgery for facial paralysis, and an integrative literature review on postoperative facial paralysis following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses statements and performed survival analyses of all cases reported to date.

Results: The analysis was composed of 33 patients; 54,5% were male (mean age, 25 years).

Baby Open Brains: An Open-Source Repository of Infant Brain Segmentations.

Reproducibility of neuroimaging research on infant brain development remains limited due to highly variable protocols and processing approaches. Progress towards reproducible pipelines is limited by a lack of benchmarks such as gold standard brain segmentations. Addressing this core limitation, we constructed the Baby Open Brains (BOBs) Repository, an open source resource comprising manually curated and expert-reviewed infant brain segmentations.

This implies exploring alternative strategies. One promising alternative to improve plant nutrition and reinforce plant defenses is the use of beneficial microorganisms in the rhizosphere, such as "Plant-growth-promoting rhizobacteria and fungi".
