Intimate partner violence (IPV) is common, and almost half of all IPV takes place in relationships with children in the home. We inventoried laws in the 50 states and the District of Columbia in the United States of America (USA) focused on addressing IPV committed in the presence of children, as these laws could help prevent or remediate this critical health and social issue. Using WestLaw, a web-based legal research service, we identified over 1,200 statutes and 500 regulations.

This study explores the molecular cues that govern Flower-mediated CG endocytosis by analyzing uptake of Synaptobrevin2, a protein specific to CG in mouse CTL. Using immunogold electron microscopy and total internal fluorescence microscopy, we found that Flower translocates in a stimulus-dependent manner from small vesicles to the IS, thereby ensuring specificity in CG membrane protein recycling.

While progress continues to be made in our understanding of the pathways that control the apical (top) geometry of epithelial cells, we know comparatively little about those that control cell basal (bottom) geometry. To examine this, we used the Drosophila ommatidium, which is the basic visual unit of the compound eye.

The database was and continues to be constructed using a particular ambient ionization time-of-flight mass spectrometry (TOF-MS) platform in the agency branch in Ashland, OR, with which queries of unknown wood samples are investigated exclusively. Laboratories that operate different MS instruments also have an interest in using the database if they can produce valid matches to known samples compatible with the database.
