Background: Rathke's cleft cyst (RCC) is a benign sellar/suprasellar lesion often discovered incidentally. Rarely, symptomatic cases can present with headache and may exhibit concomitant aseptic meningitis or apoplexy. The authors describe a patient with an RCC presenting with recurring episodes of aseptic meningitis and ultimately inflammatory-type apoplexy.

CSF metagenomic next-generation sequencing played a significant role in the diagnosis.

Objective: Clostridioides difficile infection (CDI) causes significant morbidity and mortality; however, the diagnosis of CDI remains controversial. The primary aim of our study was to evaluate the association of polymerase chain reaction (PCR) cycle threshold (Ct) values with CDI disease severity, recurrence, and mortality among adult patients with CDI.
Design: Retrospective cohort study.
