  • * Local treatment options like stereotactic ablative radiotherapy (SABR) may help control oligoprogressive disease without modifying systemic treatments, but evidence, mostly from retrospective studies, is limited.

Purpose: to assess the utility of response monitoring to enzalutamide by using [Ga]Ga-PSMA PET in mCRPC patients treated with enzalutamide as first-line therapy.

Methods: patients underwent [Ga]Ga-PSMA PET less than 8 weeks before and 3 months after starting enzalutamide. On the basis of EAU/EANM criteria, patients were categorized as PSMA responders (PET-R) or PSMA non-responders (PET-NR), whilst, based on PSA, they were classified as biochemical responders (PSA-R) or non-responders (PSA-NR).

  • A study in Italy aimed to test MSE's effectiveness and safety but had to stop early when the technique was removed from use; the study found that MSE could still be useful as a backup method if other techniques fail.

The conservation and restoration of forest ecosystems require detailed knowledge of the native plant compositions. Here, we map global forest tree composition and assess the impacts of historical forest cover loss and climate change on trees. The global occupancy of 10,590 tree species reveals complex taxonomic and phylogenetic gradients determining a local signature of tree lineage assembly.
