Patients And Methods: This study included 173 patients who were aged 6 to 18 years and admitted to a single, tertiary academic children's hospital between April 2015 and December 2021 with a diagnosis of an SSRD. Sociodemographic information and clinical features were assessed as outcomes.

Systematic Review on Protocols of Coenzyme Q10 Supplementation in Non-Surgical Periodontitis Therapy.

This systematic review focuses on the different study protocols on CoQ10 as an adjunct in non-surgical periodontitis therapy. The study protocol was developed following PRISMA guidelines and was registered in PROSPERO (CRD42021156887). A sensitive search up to January 2022 considered MEDLINE via PubMed and Web of Science, Embase, Web of Science Core Collection via Web of Science, Google Scholar, Cochrane CENTRAL, WHO (ICTRP), ClinicalTrials.

Lack of oral health awareness and interdisciplinary dental care: a survey in patients prior to endoprosthesis and orthopaedic centres in Germany.

Objectives: This cross-sectional survey aimed to evaluate the oral health behaviour of patients prior to endoprosthesis (EP), as well as the handling of oral health topics by German orthopaedic surgeons.

Materials And Methods: Consecutive patients prior to EP answered a questionnaire regarding oral health behaviour, oral hygiene, oral complaints and information on the relationship between EP and oral health. Another questionnaire was digitally mailed to orthopaedic centres throughout Germany.

Metabolic engineering of VLB120 for rhamnolipid biosynthesis from biomass-derived aromatics.

Lignin is a ubiquitously available and sustainable feedstock that is underused as its depolymerization yields a range of aromatic monomers that are challenging substrates for microbes. In this study, we investigated the growth of VLB120 on biomass-derived aromatics, namely, 4-coumarate, ferulate, 4-hydroxybenzoate, and vanillate. The wild type strain was not able to grow on 4-coumarate and ferulate.
