Background: Tirofiban is administered for the treatment of aneurysms in cases of thromboembolic complications, as well as in cases of acute stenting or flow-diverter implantation required within the scope of aneurysm treatment. We aimed to investigate the efficacy and safety of tirofiban in this group of patients.

Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of all patients undergoing aneurysm treatment and receiving peri-interventional tirofiban administration at our institution between 2009 and 2019.

Introduction: In order to improve surgical outcome and accelerate the adjuvant oncologic therapy, intraoperative Radiotherapy (IORT) has become a treatment option in oncologic surgery for various diseases including glioma and brain metastasis (BM). BMs are often located in the cranial posterior fossa (PF) requiring specific surgical considerations due to its complex anatomy. Introduction: Invasive listeriosis most often presents as bacteremia or neurolisteriosis. Cerebral infection mostly manifests as meningitis or meningoencephalitis, but cerebral abscesses are a rare manifestation.

Case Presentation: We present the rare case of a 51-year old patient with progressive right sided hemiparesis caused by a cerebral abscess due to infection.
