Glioblastoma (GBM) is a malignant tumor with highly heterogeneous and invasive characteristics leading to a poor prognosis. The CD44 molecule, which is highly expressed in GBM, has emerged as a highly sought-after biological marker. Therapeutic strategies targeting the cell membrane protein CD44 have emerged, demonstrating novel therapeutic potential.

Multi-cohort analysis identifying core ocular surface microbiome and bacterial alterations in eye diseases.

Purpose: Inconsistency exists among reported studies on the composition of human ocular surface microbiome (OSM). The roles of OSM in ocular diseases remain uncertain. In this study, we aimed to determine the composition of OSM and to evaluate its potential roles and functions from multiple cohorts.

Background: To report the presenting clinical, serological and treatment profiles of 1439 patients with thyroid eye disease (TED) from a tertiary centre in Hong Kong.

Study Populations: Consecutive patients with TED presented to the Thyroid Eye Clinic (TEC), the Chinese University of Hong Kong between 2014 and 2023.

Fabrication of ZrO Armor Ceramics by 3D Printing Accompanied with Microwave Sintering.

Ceramic armor protection with complex shapes is limited by the difficult molding or machining processing, and 3D printing technology provides a feasible method for complex-shaped ceramics. In this study, ZrO ceramics were manufactured by 3D printing accompanied with microwave sintering.
