Background: Identification of predictive biomarkers is crucial for formulating preventive interventions and halting the progression of atopic march. Although controversial, the use of accessible markers to predict or detect early onset of atopic diseases is highly desirable. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate whether corneal squamous cell carcinoma antigen-1 (SCCA1) collected from infants can predict the development of atopic dermatitis and food allergy.

Optical coherence tomography angiography (OCTA) is a powerful tool for the non-invasive assessment of dermal vasculature. However, the classification of vessel types has been limited.

Each has specific optical properties due to differences in their biological components. Alterations in the skin's cutaneous biological components resulting from photoaging caused by chronic exposure to UV light affect the deterioration of appearance associated with the skin's optical properties.

Background: A few studies have been reported on the influence of fetal hiccups on umbilical artery. The aim of this study is to clarify the influence of fetal hiccups on Doppler blood flow waveform (DBFW) of some fetal arteries, and to show the difference in these influences among fetal arteries.
Objective: DBFW of umbilical artery, descending aorta, and middle cerebral artery were recorded at hiccups in normal fetuses between 34th and 40th gestational weeks.
Induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) obtained from genetically characterized patients benefit the biological study of bipolar disorder (BD). Here, we present iPSC lines from three-generation patients with BD and recurrent depressive disorder (RDD) and a healthy control sibling in a family. All patients shared the specified haplotype in the 1p36-35, previously reported as the susceptibility locus of mood disorders.
