Predictive factors of response to vismodegib: a French study of 61 patients with multiple or locally advanced basal cell carcinoma.

Background: Vismodegib is indicated for the treatment of advanced or metastatic basal cell carcinoma (BCC). The predictive factors of response to vismodegib have so far been poorly described.

Objectives: The primary objective was to determine the profile of patients responding to vismodegib and the duration of response.

Transient abdominal telangiectasia of the newborn.

We report 20 newborns who developed, at a median age of 7 days, large abdominal patches of radially arranged purplish telangiectasia in a bilateral and symmetrical pattern in relation to the midline, creating a "butterfly wing" pattern. Clinical examination was normal in 13 newborns, six newborns had abdominal distention, and one newborn had poor weight gain due to inadequate breastfeeding. Most lesions spontaneously resolved within 3 months and did not reoccur for 19 newborns.

[Mycosis fungoides bullosa: A rare clinical presentation].

Introduction: Mycosis fungoides (MF) is the most common form of cutaneous lymphoma and usually manifests as erythematous and scaly patches or plaques. Its phenotypic or histologic presentation can be heterogeneous. Herein we report a very rare form of MF bullosa.
