Comparison of different methods for plant regeneration and transformation of the legume Galega orientalis Lam. (goat's rue).

 For the first time, regeneration and transformation have been achieved from the legume Galega orientalis Lam. (goat's rue). Two different regeneration protocols are described, one based on direct shoot induction from meristems and the other involving callus induction and shoot induction from callus with the plant growth regulator thidiazuron (TDZ).
